A wonderful beachfront location, dog-friendly, with the relaxing sounds of just the birds and the waves to keep guests company. These are all the things that Filey Whitehouse has to offer.
A simple yet cosy retreat on the idyllic Yorkshire coast, Filey Whitehouse is popular for a reason. And when we say popular, we mean, booked-out-years-in-advance popular, with the next available date during the high season not until summer 2023. That’s some serious dedication.
Boasting unbeatable views in a very impressive location, the huge beachfront property consists of two apartments and four smaller cabins, with room enough for up to 16 within its airy apartments.
And while it’s definitely a fantastic property to book out if you’re planning a getaway with your mates, it the sights up the coast that people book it for – with brilliant views out to Filey Bay for miles.
Framing the picturesque view perfectly is huge, open windows that run along the front of the property on all floors, opening out to three terraces where guests can sit and take it all in with a drink in hand.
And the entertainment doesn’t end there. Inside, guests can enjoy a fun games room complete with foosball and a snooker table, as well as a terrace BBQ, a shared garden, and even private beach access. Cheeky bit of skinnydipping, anyone?
Just minutes away from the property, guests will find the popular Primrose Valley resort, as well as the stunning Hunmanby Gap beach – one of the less popular beaches in Yorkshire that just so happens to be one of the best (in our humble opinion!). There, visitors can take advantage of a huge stretch of gorgeous white sand, as well as the lovely Hunmanby Gap Cafe, where you can pick up a brew while looking out to sea.
Take the scenic route up the beach just 45 minutes, and the stunning coast will lead you right up to the lovely seaside town of Filey, where visitors can tuck into proper Yorkshire fish and chips, drink at a number of lovely pubs or enjoy plenty of ice cream stops during the summer.
Fancy a stay? Bookings up to the end of 2022 are open now, and you can find out more here.
