“Chhheese Gromit!” We are even more excited for the Christmas season as Netflix released a new trailer for the new Wallace & Gromit movie, Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. With the festive period in full swing, as Christmas Markets have begun, the new film will be a welcome addition.
Set to air Christmas Day on BBC One and Player, the film sees the return of one of pop culture’s greatest-ever villains Feathers McGraw from Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers after decades spent in prison.
The new film has some modern themes including Wallace’s newest creation a ‘smart gnome’ which is a robot with AI named Norbot and voiced by Hull’s Reece Shearsmith (what could possibly go wrong, eh?).

Nick Park is returning as director alongside Merlin Crossingham, and wrote on WallaceAndGromit.com, saying: “I’d had the idea of a film about garden gnomes turning bad for more than a decade, but I could never work out what made them bad.”
He continued: “It occurred to me that the single most asked question I get when I meet fans is, will the penguin Feathers McGraw, Wallace and Gromit’s original antagonist from The Wrong Trousers 30 years ago, ever return? We’ve had fun bringing him back in cameo capacities but now, three decades on, it felt like the right time.”
The synopsis of the film reads: “In Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified when Wallace invents a ‘smart’ gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”
