As the first series of Our Farm Next Door came to an end, fans of the show didn’t have to wait long to learn that it had been renewed for a second series. The finale saw “Anty Johns,” the farmhouse being renovated by the Owen family, finally connected to electricity—a major milestone among many reached throughout the series.
The More4 show sees the family renovate the 1800s farmhouse, Anty Johns, located near Ravenseat Farm, which was taken over by Amanda and Clive Owen in March 2020. As Amanda mentioned in the new series, it’s something they hope to pass down within the family.

Of the Owen family’s nine children, Reuben was particularly enthusiastic about Anty Johns, expressing in the new series that he could see himself living there one day.
The farmhouse includes 30 acres of land and common grazing rights. Being located in a national park, it is subject to strict building regulations that ensure the family strikes a balance between preserving the building’s historic character and meeting modern living requirements.

Drawing to a close Our Farm Next Door showed a montage of big moments from the series featuring the Owen family playing whilst Amanda concluded the series.
As the programme drew to an end it was confirmed that the family would return for another series in the new year – which is music to our ears.
