Nine Yorkshire asian curry spots have been shortlisted in the Asian Curry Awards 2023. And, a few of our favourites have made the list.
Yorkshire spots will go up against 200 venues across the country and will be voted for against each other by the public via online votes.
The finalist will then be assessed by a panel of judges from the Asian Catering Federation (ACF), who will decide each category winners.
The Asian Curry Awards 2023 covers a range of Asian cuisines including: Bangladeshi, Burmese, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Middle Eastern, Pakistani, Singaporean, Sri Lankan, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese.
The winner will be named at a gala dinner and presentation ceremony hosted by the BBC news anchor Samantha Simmonds, being held at the Grosvenor House in London on November 19th Sunday.

- Akbar’s Group, which is across Yorkshire and the North including Bradford, Sheffield, Middlesborough and York.
- Café Le Raj – Leeds
- Rosa’s Thai, which is located in the UK including in Leeds city centre and York.
- Indian Tiffin Room – Leeds
- Shama Bingley – Bingley
- Dishi – Sheffield
- Everest Gurkha – York
- Lala’s Restaurant – Leeds
