This Yorkshire Brewery Has Created A Beer To Raise Money For The Hospitality Industry
A great cause to get involved in!

The hospitality sector is one of the worst hit industries during the coronavirus epidemic. With lockdown and social distancing measures making it imperative that restaurants, bars and hotels close to stem the spread of the virus, it has had a massive blow on the industry with many places worried for their future. It’s a huge sadness for the industry and we should now more than ever be making sure we support local independent businesses in any way we can.

These harsh times have brought out the best and worst in society. We have seen beautiful moments of community spirit and heard awful news as this virus plagues our society. Leeds-based brewery, Northern Monk announced last month that they are joining other breweries around the world to raise money for the hospitality industry.

The initiative known as All Together was started by Other Half Brewing Co with the aim to create awareness & funds for the industry with a worldwide beer collaboration.

In an Instagram post the Brewery said, “We’re stoked to be working with @otherhalfnyc on their All Together project. We’re joining forces with breweries across the world to brew a beer to raise money for the hospitality industry at this difficult time.

Co-founder of Other Half Brewing, Matt Monahan has said, “We want to keep these losses at the forefront of conversations so that anyone who wants to help can learn what is happening and find a way to contribute to the recovery.”

Breweries interested from any corner of the earth can get involved. The only requirement is that they roughly follow the provided open-source IPA recipe, use the name “All Together” and the donated label art and marketing materials, and donate a portion of sales to support hospitality workers in each brewery’s community.

They have now revealed their new beer that aims to raise money and awareness for the hospitality sector. In their Instagram post the brewery said, “The hospitality industry is one of the hardest hit by this pandemic, with many jobs lost, and incomes significantly cut. All Together is an industry pledge to help those affected.”

They have described the beer All Together as a juicy 6.5% IPA hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe and Cascade. To help out and enjoy the delicious beer you can order yours by following the link here.
