Teachers across the country are striking and Yorkshire Wildlife Park is supporting families with an offer for free entry for children all today.
The Yorkshire Wildlife Park took to social media to share the news, offering an educational experience to children who visit on Wednesday 1st of Febraury which sees industrial strike action across various sectors.

The post reads: “YWP are offering free entry for children to come and learn about all their favourite animals during the Teacher strikes, only on Wednesday 1st February 2023*. Enjoy the sun on your face and the fresh air in your lungs as you explore and discover some of the world’s most endangered animals! 🐾”

Located near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Yorkshire Wildlife Park opened back in 2009 and has become one of the UK’s biggest attractions with over 500 animals and 100 different species.
The impressive park is over 260 acres and has restaurants, fun activities, a petting zoo and of course fantastic animals for around the globe for you to learn about.
