We’ve all felt the cold over the last few days, but none so much as those up in the higher lands like the Owens up on Ravenseat Farm in the Yorkshire Dales. Fans have been fearing for safety of the family as it was hit with sub-zero temperatures.
Star of Our Yorkshire Farm and Beyond the Yorkshire Farm, Reuben shared snaps to put us at ease on Monday evening sharing how he and mum, Amanda, have kept things afloat during the chillier times. Reuben commented that: “Although my Deutz is far too big for spreading muck it was the best choice as it has a far better heater and radio than any of the others #deutz #snow.”
He also shared beautiful snaps of the snow-filled fields that surround them. Fans were quick to applaud the mother and son duo working in the cold weather.

Sharing how they adapted to the plummeting temperatures he shared a snap of his mum handing him a warm beverage inside the tractor. Another snap showed mother and son in the tractor tending to the farm.
One person wrote: “Nice to see your beautifull mum out and about rubin you only get 1 mum ? Miss her on program xx take care out there”.
Another wrote: “Keeping warm and music 🎶 while you work ! Can’t beat it , Then mum with a welcome cup of hot chocolate! Enjoy ! … fabulous snow scene !”
And we couldn’t agree more. The family have been working hard on the property they purchased down the road from Ravenseat Farm called Anty John’s. We’ve seen all of them down at the property getting stuck into transforming the farmhouse in the beautiful Yorkshire dales.
There are talks of the transformation being picked up for a show on Channel 4, but we are yet to hear anything to confirm the rumours. When we first saw them doing work up on the farmhouse, we though it would make a great show, so let’s hope the rumours are true.
