Beyond The Yorkshire Farm’s Reuben Owen Surprises Girlfriend Sarah With A New Car

This week’s episode of Channel 5’s Beyond The Yorkshire Farm saw Reuben gift his girlfriend Sarah Dow with a new car, which was a heartwarming scene.

The 19-year-old farmer gifted his partner with a Ford Fiesta and then began practicing her reversing skills ahead of Dow’s driving test.

The trio which now makes up the show, Reuben, Tom, and Sarah visited a vintage tractor fair where the young Owen took home a Leyland tipper and Tom bid for some parts.

Sarah came home empty-handed (so she thought). Reuben drove her back to her home in the Yorkshire Dales and surprised her with the car which was sitting waiting on the drive.

Reuben instructed his girlfriend to: “closer your eyes”, before revealing his gift to which Sarah gushed: “‘Wow! Oh my gosh! A Ford Fiesta,”

The straight-talking Yorkshireman didn’t want high praise as Reuben pointed out: “It wasn’t a fortune I’m not gonna lie, £300, what a bargain. Bit rough but it will do!  Interior – muddy. Perfect.”

The smoothy knows how to keep his partner happy that’s for sure. And, it made for some heartwarming viewing that’s for sure.

Clive and Reuben have seen great success with the Our Yorkshire Farm spin-off which sees Reuben set out on his own with his new digging business.

Clive recently said he’s going to step back from the series and let Rueben “go it alone”. in an interview with Christine Lampard on Lorraine.

Clive explained his son “doesn’t want me on his hands’ and thinks Reuben will ‘go on on his own”.

“He continued: “We’ve done this thing with Reuben, it’s been great fun working with him. Cos he’s crazy too, so we’ve had a grand time doing it.”

“I think I’m stepping back from that now. I think he’s gonna go on on his own. Because he doesn’t want me on his hands. So, I have no plans to do anything in particular, but you never know, someone might be daft enough to ask me.”

All we have to say is please someone ask Clive! We would love anything featuring the Yorkshireman.
