People Are Calling For Sean Bean To ‘Get Major Awards Recognition’ For Time Performance

Yorkshire folk all rejoiced when Sean Bean was back on our screens in the new BBC drama Time. Sheffield-born Bean returned alongside Stephen Graham in what people are calling the best drama of the year so far. The BBC drama takes a look at life inside prison.

The crime drama, written by Jimmy McGovern, the Yorkshire actor play Mark Coben, a teacher, who is given a four-year sentence for killing an innocent man in an accident. Eric Mcnally, a prison officer doing his pest to keep the prisoners is check is played by Stephen Graham.

The three-part series saw Graham’s character face a dilemma when his own son is sent into prison, and he has to try and protect him from the other inmates.

The last episode was played last weekend and people are calling for the two actors to be given all the awards for their performances in the BBC drama series.

One person wrote that “If Stephen Graham and Sean Bean don’t get major awards recognition I will be amazed.”

Whilst another wrote that the BBC Drama Time was a “masterpiece” and applauded McGovern, Bean and the rest of the cast.
