A popular PYO wildflower spot, The Flower Belt in Helmsley, North York Moors, has announced a new site. Known as a beautiful and popular Yorkshire attraction where visitors can create their own bespoke flower arrangements by hand-picking blooms from beautiful wildflower fields, it is set to expand.
The Flower Belt in Helmsley, a third-generation family-run farm, has become a favourite destination for those looking to enjoy the countryside and take home a unique bouquet. The site is passionate about growing seasonal flowers and features a huge variety of blooms to choose from, alongside its stunning sunflower fields.
Guests can wander through the colourful displays, collecting their favourite flowers to create a personalised bouquet, while enjoying the sights, scents, and sounds of nature. It’s a wonderfully relaxing experience that encourages visitors to slow down and embrace the outdoors.
Announcing the news on social media, The Flower Belt Helmsley said: “We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we’re opening a second Flower Belt! Introducing… The Flower Belt, Harrogate! Located on the Ripon to Harrogate Road, our newest site will bring you everything you know and love about The Flower Belt – the same relaxed atmosphere, beautiful flowers, delicious food and drink, and family-friendly experience, all in a stunning new location.”
The new Harrogate site will build on the success of the Helmsley attraction, offering visitors the chance to grab a pair of scissors and hand-pick their own flowers to take home.
The Helmsley site also features a popular on-site café serving freshly brewed coffee, cakes, and light refreshments, making it easy to spend a leisurely few hours among the flowers. While details of the Harrogate site are still emerging, it’s expected to offer many of the same much-loved features.
