Heart radio has once again unwrapped Heart Xmas—a 24-hour Christmas music station bursting with all the festive tunes you could dream of on your holiday playlist!
Originally launched in 2016, Heart Xmas was a rebrand of Heart Extra and has since become a yearly tradition, playing all the best holiday bangers. This year, it’s made its earliest appearance yet, going live on 22nd September—yes, more than three months before Christmas!
The station promises to bring “the ultimate festive soundtrack” to listeners, as the countdown to the big day officially begins. You can expect all the classics, with Mariah Carey’s iconic All I Want For Christmas Is You, Wham!’s Last Christmas, and, of course, Michael Bublé crooning his way into the season. But don’t worry, they’re mixing it up with newer, upbeat Christmas tunes to keep things fresh.
If you can’t resist getting into the Christmas spirit early (even though we haven’t hit October), you can tune in via the Global Player app, available on iOS and Android, to listen live. For the first time ever, Heart Xmas will also be available across the UK on DAB+ digital radio—so just scroll through your radio until you land on that magical station.
Of course, if you prefer to hold off on decking the halls until November, we understand. But for those who want to dive headfirst into the Christmas cheer, the party’s already started!
