It seems that Sean Bean is a busy bee at the minute. We announced last week the iconic Yorkshireman will be featuring in another BBC Drama Marriage alongside Nicola Walker from Spooks. This time he will feature in a new live-action movie based on the 80s Manga anime Saint Seiya by Masami Kurumada. Sean Bean in the Knights of the Zodiac, will play the antagonist once more.

Bean will play the founder of the Knights Alman Kiddo in his return to the fantasy genre, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Previously Bean has been in Lord of the Rings movies and, Ned Stark in the hit series Game of Thrones.
Bean’s character is responsible for mentoring orphan Seiya on a quest to conquer the Greek armor of Pegasus and choose a side in an epic battle.
Bean will be joined by Pacific Rim: Uprising star Macyenyu in the role of Seiya, X-Men‘s Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl, and Jumanji‘s Madison Iseman.

The executive producer of The Witcher Tomasz Baginski is directing, and 10 Cloverfield Lane screenwriters Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken wrote the script.
Bean recently featured on BBC Drama, Time an inmate in prison with actor Stephen Graham playing a prison guard. The pair were praised for their impressive performances by viewers and critics alike. He’s also featured as the antagonist Wilford in the Netflix series Snowpiercer, a dramatic role that has allowed Bean to show is dark side once more.
Bean is a seasoned actor that has played a vast range of roles, and is known for dying in many of them. Let’s hope he manages to avoid kicking the bucket in this new film.
There is currently no premiere date for Sean Bean and Knights of the Zodiac.
