It’s almost time to say goodbye to the ghouls and ghosts and enjoy the season’s greetings as we move into the festive season with Christmas markets, twinkling lights and the merriment that comes this time of year. Sheffield Christmas Market has announced its 2022 event and this year it’s moving to The Moors instead.
Alpine bars serve up mulled wine, baileys hot chocolate and German beers are returning along with cabins of independent traders and of course Sheffield’s Big Wheel. There will be over 50 log cabins all decorated with tinsel, fairy lights and all those things that make us think of Christmas creating a festive frenzy for shoppers over the Christmas period.
Expect jolly old Saint Nick there to greet the kids in Santa’s Grotto where the man in red will be perched ready to give Christmas market Sheffield 2022 a big dollop of festive cheer.
Sheffield’s Christmas market is made of 80% local traders who’ve created a special experience to make your experience extra special. Not only that but there will be a visit from Santa and his elves at Santa’s Grotto where kids can tell him what they would like for Christmas.
At the Sheffield Christmas markets, The Alpine Bars will also be serving a range of food including traditional German sausage grill, pizza, chimney cake, churros and many more.
The double-decker bar will be once again taking centre stage in Piece Gardens. The Alpine Bar is a highlight for many people visiting the Christmas Market in Sheffield.
It’s open from 10am – 10pm daily until 24th December when the Sheffield Christmas Markets 2022 will come to an end once more.
Writing on the Sheffield Market Facebook they assured people that “Don’t worry we will still have lots of cabins on Fargate and around Town Hall Square as well as the Alpine Lodge in the Peace gardens.”
The Sheffield Christmas Market is open daily from 10am until 6pm daily with those times extending until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays in December
The Sheffield Christmas Markets 2022 is set to open in November 2022 and will be open from 10am to 6pm Sunday to Thursday and 8pm on Friday and Saturday throughout December.
