Enjoy Beer With Deer At This Yorkshire Dales Stately Home This Summer

A unique al fresco drinking and dining experience can be found in the Yorkshire Dales near Ripon. The Swinton Park Beer with the Deer experience allows you to sip on local brewery Masham’s beer whilst asking up the atmosphere of the beautiful Swinton Parkland.

On selected dates throughout summer, Swinton Park will be putting on local beers with fabulous wood-fired pizzas, barbeques, and pig roasts overlooking their beautiful deer park.

You can enjoy live music every Friday from True North and Swinton Park ‘Beer with the Deer’ from 12:30pm until 8pm where you can soak up the atmosphere along with a few choice ales or their new Swinton Estate gin in the sun – doesn’t sound too bad, does it?

The idea of sipping on a beer with authentic handmade pizza, whilst overlooking the majestic deer sounds like the most serene and magical experience ever.

Especially when the deer park is home to a herd of around 120 deer that roam freely around the confines of the Swinton Park deer area – and is thought to have been around since the late 1700s.

The main types of deer you may encounter as part of Swinton Parks Beer with the Deer event are fallow deer between the size of roe and red deer.

The summer evenings at Swinton Park are is it known for the deer to regularly delight guests at the hotel as they graze past them.
