We’ve made it! Up and down the country pubs, with outdoor space have begun to open as per the government guidelines. Over the last few weeks, pubs have been making the effort to create spaces to ensure that people can enjoy a nice drink in a safe space. And, one that has really pulled it out of the bag is Alma Inn in Sowerby.

The beautiful little pub situated in West Yorkshire has created an amazing outside area of the last few months to entertain 300 customers. Turning their car park and garden area into a space that can house all these people is one huge feat.

They have an array of seating for their punters to enjoy a beer or two while enjoying a few beers, and we think it looks fab. They have set up a huge marquee as well, which is like a whole new outdoor pub in itself. We are very impressed with the length these guys have gone to and look forward to visiting to sample a few beers ourselves. If you’d like to check out, visit their Facebook page here. Places all over Yorkshire are being clever about their outdoor spaces. In Sheffield Bowling Alley, Lane7 has taken over night club, Plug’s car parking area and turned it into a 200-seat outdoor space with a huge television screen. People will be able to enjoy street food and an array of beers and cocktails out in the outdoors as we get ready to celebrate the summer after a year of lockdowns and COVID restrictions.
In Leeds Merrion Street bars have created the largest outdoor space in the city centre for five weeks to ensure that customers have a safe space where they can enjoy a few beers outside. All-in-all, it seems like exciting times ahead for the hospitality sector, which was worst hit by the pandemic.
