This New Lego Barn In South Yorkshire Sounds Like Every Kids Dream

Doncaster‘s newest, most exciting family destination has arrived in the form of The Brick Barn. It’s a great spot for families seeking a day filled with creativity and imagination. Located on the family-owned Shepherds Place Farm, The Brick Barn in Doncaster offers up an immersive experience for all ages.

Boasting two uniquely themed environments, The Inventors Lab and The Festival Courtyard, designed to stimulate and captivate the imagination of visitors. The Brick Barn is also committed to sustainability as well as entertainment. The Brick Barn will open on December 23rd at 10am – and looks forward to welcoming visitors.

At its core is the idea of reusing and repurposing. All the Lego pieces used in activities come from trade-ins and second-hand sources, ensuring that every brick has a story, which we love. From dusty cupboards, under the bed, and abandoned in lofts, the Lego pieces are given a new lease of life in The Brick Barn.

As well as fun and games, education is a key focus for The Brick Barn, with plans to welcome school trips, youth groups, retirement home visits, and a home education program. The goal is to harness the power of imagination through interactive learning experiences, making the barn a centre for both entertainment and education.

Step inside The Brick Barn, and you’ll find two enchanting rooms filled with atmospheric lighting, themed walls, and creatively designed set pieces. The Inventors Laboratory houses the imagination harvester, a fantastical device absorbing the creative energy generated by Lego construction. In The Festival of Imagination, an abandoned castle courtyard has been reclaimed by nature, providing a magical setting for building under twinkling lights and soothing sounds.
