That’s one whole metre-long pizza! Produced by good ol’ Yorkshire folk! The Yorkshire Deli & Pizza based in Wakefield and Victoria Gate, Leeds serves up authentic Italian dishes, and enjoy putting a good ol’ Yorkshire twist on their food served with fantastic wines & beers.
Found in Victoria Gate in Leeds city centre, this Yorkshire pizza place like to do things a little bit different. Their menu uses fresh local produce which uses the best and recognised sources in the country. From veggies grown just a few miles away to locally reared meats reared and award-winning cheese.
Their metre-long pizza is a spectacle to behold! You can choose to have four toppings from any of their pizzas on the menu, and the pizza should feed six people or one greedy sod. You can choose from a range of toppings such as Margarita, Funghi, Diablo, Parma Ham & Rocket as well as a Yorkshire Deli special. The pizza will set you back £40, which, if split between six is only around £6.60 each. This is a bargain for Yorkshire folk and saves more money for supping some decent beer.

The toppings we went for were…
-Parma Ham w/ Rocket
-Chicken Tikka (my brothers favourite)”
As well as serving up this legendary pizza, The Yorkshire Deli also has some great classics on the menu such as Messe boards, Hot Reuven Sandwiches, Ploughmans Platter, classic lasagna and other tasty treats.
The use of fresh local ingredients ensures some truly wonderful dishes and at both the Leeds and Wakefield restaurants and something that is a little bit different for our customers in the up and coming cosmopolitan city of Leeds!
Their menu sounds like a bit of us, and we’ll definitely be over to try the famous metre pizza. We are thinking Diablo, Margarita, Parma Ham and Funghi. We’ll see if two people can manage it – what do you think?
