Despite the hardships that the travel industry has faced over the past couple of years, Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire has become one of the most impressive stays in the world. And, after this morning’s AA Rossette virtual ceremony it has become one of two hotels to receive the maximum five-star accreditation by the AA.

Only six months after opening it landed one of the top spots of the list collated by Luxury Travel Intelligence beaten only by luxury resort The Nautilus in the Maldives, which can be forgiven, because, well, it’s the Maldives.

AA Rosettes are given to those hotels that offer the very best customer experience and the highest levels of service. Gilpin Hotel & Lake House at Windermere, Cumbria, also received the top accolade.

Grantley Hall the luxury hotel features everything you could hope for in one of the most beautiful places in Yorkshire, including an incredible infinity hydrotherapy pool that looks over the landscaped gardens and woodlands the hotel is so idyllically set in.

This beautiful hotel plays host to 90 rooms, with guests all having access to their Spa. Not only that, their rooftop spa experience includes a panoramic sauna, spa bath and a variety of treatments to enjoy.
Elsewhere, the hotel includes two golf courses, a private cinema, and some of the rooms even have their own steam rooms and spa baths to enjoy in your own privacy.

Simon Numphud, Managing Director at AA Media said “As the hospitality industry reopens after a challenging year, it is an honour to announce our latest AA Red Star winners.
“With the public looking forward to travelling further afield once again, it is inspiring to see hotels like these offering impeccable service and exceptional stays, providing guests with a comfortable and reassuring return to the hospitality sector.”
