Yorkshire has welcomed yet another Hollywood A-lister this week, and honestly, we can’t say we blame him. With stunning countryside, historic cities and some incredible food spots, God’s Own Country has long attracted famous faces. This time, it’s Stanley Tucci who has been spotted exploring Yorkshire.
Best known for films including The Devil Wears Prada and The Hunger Games, as well as his hugely popular food and travel series, Tucci was first seen in Ilkley. The actor reportedly stopped by the popular brunch spot Thirty Nine Coffee Company for a coffee after filming in a local pub nearby.

Sharing the surprise visit on social media, the café posted: “Look who popped in for a Thirty Nine coffee. Awesome to meet the amazing @stanleytucci. What an amazing chap and lovely crew. So glad you enjoyed our coffee!”
The star was then spotted in York on Thursday morning, filming near York Minster before later heading over to The Shambles.
York Minster even shared a snap of the actor on social media alongside the caption: “Stanley Tucci has been spotted filming outside the Minster. This is not a drill!”
It’s not yet clear what exactly Tucci is filming, although fans have speculated it could be connected to a new travel or food project. The actor is also currently appearing in The Devil Wears Prada 2.

And it seems that he wasn’t quite finished in York as he’s headed over to Rustique (somewhere we’ve had on our list for a looong time). The restaurant posted: “Spotted at Rustique 🇫🇷👀 It’s only Stanley Tucci ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We wonder who will walk through the door next week! Thanks so much for visiting Mr Tucci.”
Whether he’s sampling Yorkshire’s food scene or soaking up the sights, it certainly looks like Tucci has been enjoying his time in the county. The only question now is where he’ll head next.
