This Pub Has Been Announced As CAMRA Best In Yorkshire

Yorkshire is the home of quaint, homely traditional pubs serving up fantastic ales and such. There are some fantastic Yorkshire beers in the region – and CAMRA has announced a pub as the best in Yorkshire (this year).

CAMRA otherwise known as the Campaign for Real Ale is an independent voluntary consumer organisation which aims on highlighting fantastic pubs selling great real ales.

The Beer Engine

In order to crown a winner, scores are voted on by CAMRA members, and is based on a range of factors including ambiance, community involvement, welcoming atmosphere, and quality, well kept cask ales.

And the title of Keighley and Craven CAMRA Pub of the Year 2023 has been given to The Beer Engine in Skipton.

The team at The Beer Engine took to social media anounced the news via social media saying: “When we won Keighley and Craven CAMRA Pub of the Year 2023 we were so elated, considering that award the pinnacle point in our aim of serving you amazing beer.

“However, after a meeting with the branch head today we now have even more astounding news, we are only just wrapping our heads round it but we have just won Regional (Yorkshire) Pub of the Year 2023.“This is just wonderful news, and an absolute testament to the effort and hard work our team put into making everyone feel welcome.

“We truly could not be more proud of them, and you, our customers, who make the Beer Engine the warm, inviting and lovely place to enjoy a beer that it is.“So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
