You Can Now Glamp With Alpacas In The Stunning Yorkshire Countryside

It’s hard to think what could possibly make glamping in the Yorkshire countryside any better than it already is. But apparently, this South Yorkshire campsite has the answer: alpacas.

Located just South of Doncaster on the outskirts of a town called Tickhill, Tickhill Alpacas combines the experience of glamping in the great outdoors with communicating with curious animals – an experience that animal lovers will absolutely love.

The alpacas, which are owned by husband and wife duo Dean and Karen, have been trained over the past five years to hang out with people, and now, guests can reap the benefits of all that wonderful training and walk, trek and relax with the unique animals during their trip.

Situated within the glorious countryside, glampers are treated to their very own Bell Tent during their stay, which is complete with a comfy double bed, room enough for six and extra furnishings giving the cosy factor. The alpacas graze, live and play nearby, too, making for incredibly wholesome surroundings.

If that wasn’t all, the site is only a mile’s walk away from the local pubs, and guests can also take advantage of a BBQ and fire pit on-site to cook up something of their own if they’re tired out from all the alpaca trekking.

Home to 21 alpacas, the experience really is like no other around, thanks to its interactive approach to their farm and animals.

Open for bookings now, the experience is family-friendly, with a children’s playground now installed for the summer months and plenty of land for the kids to run free on. Find out more and book here.
