Just a stone’s throw a way from the York Minster, you can immerse yourself in two floors of amazing festive scenes. Käthe Wohlfahrt, the family-owned business dates back to the 1964s founded by Wilhelm and Käthe Wohlfahrt and the York store housed in “Mulberry Hall”, one of York’s oldest and most iconic houses is the only shop of their’s in Great Britain. You will find all of their most popular designs, which are developed in the company’s own artist workshop in Germany.

A trip to the York xmas shop is rounded off perfectly with a visit to the first floor to check out the Cuckoo Clock room which is full of exquisite, cuckoo clocks made in the Black Forest region of Germany.

Käthe Wohlfahrt is open from Monday – Saturday from 10am to 5.30pm and Sunday from 10.30am to 5pm.
