Popular Kirkbymoorside-set show The Yorkshire Auction House is set to return to screens soon, following two successful series where host and auctioneer Angus Ashworth hunts for antique gems in other’s old and unwanted items.
Coming back for a third series, the team behind the show have announced they’re looking for Yorkshire folk to take part – with a new call out asking for locals who are preparing for a house clean-out to get in touch.

Currently airing on the Really channel and discovery+, the show follows Angus and his team as they sift through people’s personal belongings when undergoing huge clearouts, seeking gems along the way to auction off at Ryedale Auctioneers.
The casting call reads: “Do you have a house to clear? Are you downsizing? Would you like to be part of an exciting TV series? Get in touch to hear more!
“STV Studios invite you to apply to take part in a heart-warming TV series fronted by expert auctioneer Angus Ashworth.
“He might find unknown treasures in your home and, if you were happy, anything of value would be carefully packed up and transported to go under Angus’s gavel at auction.
“STV Studios will put selected contributors in touch with Ryedale Auctioneers. If you decide to go ahead with them, we would like to help you celebrate those hidden gems and curios and have a surprising and uplifting journey of discovery.
“A bit of cash might even be made along the way.”

Ryedale Auctioneers can be found in Kirkbymoorside, near the North York Moors, just a short drive from Hutton-le-Hole.
Who is Angus Ashworth?
Angus Ashworth is a North Yorkshire-born expert in the world of antiques, and runs his own auction house in Kirkbymoorside.
Known for BBC One’s Antiques Road Show and Cash in the Attic, the former soldier now owns Ryedale Auctioneers, which can be seen in The Yorkshire Auction House.
Ashworth became obsessed with antiques from a young age, and even gained experience working at David Duggleby’s Auctioneers in Scarborough as a young teen.
