Two Yorkshire Contestants To Take Part In Channel 4's 'The Great British Bake Off' 2025

It’s been a hot old summer, and we’ve been making the most of it. But, like all good things, it must end. And, one of the signs of summer coming to an end is the return of Channel 4’s hit show The Great British Bake Off, which is returning for another series with 12 more bakers looking to be named the winner.

Bake Off offers a warm ol’ hug perfectly fitting with autumn, with contestants, judges and presenters offering warmth, humour and amazing bakes all in the aim of entertainment. As well as a whole host of new contestants, judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will return alongside presenters Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond.

Series 16 of The Great British Bake Off returns to our screens Tuesday 2nd September at 8pm on Channel 4. And with it comes two Yorkshire folk, meaning this series is set to be a goodun, if you ask us.

First is Hassan from South Yorkshire, a 30-year-old analytical research & development scientist. His bio reads that he’ll take an analytical approach to baking, researching processes, and also taking inspiration for his bakes from his Pakistani heritage

Next is Nataliia from East Yorkshire, a 32-year-old office assistant. Born in Ukraine, she was taught by her grandmother, following traditional recipes handed down through generations. Expect the fusion of classic British bakes with her roots, with the use of spices like nutmeg and cinnamon.
