Well, now you can have the convenience of having your Cooplands favourites ready and waiting in the freezer with their new frozen range.

That’s right! Taking to Instagram today, they announced their new frozen pastries writing: “We are proud to announce that we have partnered with @heronfoods, where we will be offering frozen versions of our much-loved baked goods for at-home baking with prices starting at just £1″.
Cooplands, the third largest bakery in the UK, has their frozen goods available in Herons Foods, and they sound like a delicious addition to the shopping list. With a lot of us working from home since lockdown, we can get the taste of the high street at home.

Choose from a number of Cooplands customer favourite products including the classic sausage roll, savoury pies, and delicious sweet treats such as gooey chocolate muffins and cherry turnovers.
Belinda Youngs, chief executive of Cooplands, said: “’Now customers at Heron Foods can bake their Cooplands favourites at home. Our new range of products includes sweet and savoury pasties, savoury pies and our deliciously decadent chocolate muffins filled with a gooey chocolatey centre, not to mention our famous perfect pastry sausage rolls.

“There will be new innovation and limited edition products in the future too so customers can bake our bakers’ best from the comfort of their own kitchen.”
Yorkshire’s oldest bakery has been in business for 136 years and is also opening three concession shops in Tesco Supermarkets in Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees and Lincoln.
