Huddersfield popular spa, Titanic Spa is one of the best that we’ve visited – so it’s no surprise that it’s taken how an array of awards at the 2024 LUXE Global Awards. Housed in a former Edwardian textile building and off the beaten path along the River Colne, it’s known as the UK’s first Eco-Spa and a leading health spa.
The spa was honoured by awards that recognise excellence in the hospitality industry, including hotels, spas, restaurants, and travel providers. Aiming to celebrate exceptional experiences in the industry, Titanic Spa was honoured with not one, but three gongs.
The awards show how hard the Titanic Spa team works. They include the Best Luxury Adult Only Spa, Best Spa Team, and, of course, Best Luxury Eco Spa (which was a global award). The spa is popular with groups and couples with 20 treatment rooms, pool, a restaurant and other spa facilities such as aromatherapy steam rooms, saunas of differing temperatures, an ice room and more.
The spa has a range of eco-friendly attributes that helped it gain such a prestigious award, including renewable energy generation through solar panels. The spa also has its own natural water source found 100m below the spa. The water provides fresh drinking and bathing water for the plunge pool and salt-regulated swimming pool, showers, and an ice experience.
