There ain’t much better than a pint with a view, and you don’t get much better than the rolling hillside valleys in the Ryburn and Calder region of West Yorkshire. The perfect spot to enjoy a nice cool pint is Thwaites country pub & dining, The Winterburn. The pub in Halifax boasts one of the best panoramic views in West Yorkshire.

Serving up delicious homecooked food with Thwaites seasonal cask ales it’s the perfect place to visit. Every Saturday, this beautiful venue puts on a hearty bottomless brunch.
They serve up a range of great brunch dishes from a Winterburn Breakfast that includes egg, sausage, bacon, mushroom, hash brown, baked beans and toasted bloomer (veggie, vegan & gluten-free options available) to a brunch burger that has 8oz beef burger topped with fried egg, bacon, hash brown and mozzarella and more.

To wash all that food down, you have a range of options. You can enjoy the classic prosecco, Bloody Mary and mimosas, or bottled beer if you don’t fancy bubbles.

Running from 11:30 to 15:00, the bottomless brunch will set you back just £25 for 90 minutes of free-flowing booze – sounds good to me.

As well as doing fantastic bottomless brunches, The Winterburn in Halifax offers great Sunday Roasts. You can finish the week off properly with a homemade Sunday Roast, without any of the mess! Choose from the roasted topside of beef, pan-roasted butterflied chicken or mushroom and cranberry nut roast (Vegan).Â

The roast is served with all served with rosemary and garlic roasted potatoes, roasted carrot, thyme gravy, steamed vegetables, and Yorkshire pudding – yum.

If that wasn’t good enough, they invite you to bring well-behaved dogs that are welcome outside or in the bar area.
