Hull Marina & Humber Street in Hull are home to some of the best independent shops, restaurants, and bars that the fourth-largest city in the Yorkshire has to offer – and in the summer months, it becomes the perfect little sun trap to enjoy some al fresco dining or maybe a few tipples in the sun.
The Marina, the old fruit market Humber Street have had a huge facelift for Hull’s city of culture and are now the coolest part of town to venture to and while away the hours. Whether it’s grabbing a coffee and a pastry at Flour & Feast bakery, vintage shopping at Poorboy Boutique Vintage clothing, or heading out for a meal at the beautiful Butler Whites, you’ll not be disappointed on your next visit.
Hull has quickly become our favourite city in Yorkshire, with stiff competition from the likes of Leeds and York. But for us, the do-it-yourself independent nature of the city has won our hearts. Plus, it happens to be our home city, having grown up on the East Yorkshire coast. And, the Hull Marina & Humber Street neighbourhood has quickly become our most-loved part – so you could say that this little corner of Yorkshire is our top spot, especially in regards to city life.
