We love a bargain. And, to hear that Aldi’s gin has been named one of the best in the world is music to our ears. Especially hearing that it only costs £15 – you know us Yorkshire folk loves a bargain.
The bargain supermarket has become known for its quality alcohol. We couldn’t agree more. They have some great craft beers, wines, and spirits and we can’t wait to try their new gin.
We’ll be heading to Aldi to give it a try – that’s for sure. Then we’ll be able to potter down the middle aisle to see what random bargains they have.

Aldi’s gin has been officially ranked as one of the best in the world by the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) and it only costs £15.
The Haysmith’s Rhubarb and Ginger Gin made one of the top spots with 98 points and earned a gold medal in doing so. Reckon you deserve gold medal-rated gin?

The IWSC’s tasting note reads: “Magnificently well-balanced with the full rich flavours of mouth-watering rhubarb, fiery ginger and chaste juniper.
“Delectably moist on the finish with the glorious pungency of lip-tingling Jamaican ginger cake, heaped with a generous dollop of deliciously tart rhubarb. Superb. “



The gin comes in 700ml bottle and is 40% abv with £14.99 price tag and is one to add to your trolley on your next visit to Aldi ready for summer sipping.
Fancy another summer tipple? Well Haysmith’s Blood Orange Gin from Aldi won bronze and also won a gold medal for its Marnoch Limited Edition Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey.
