One of our favourite bars in Leeds, this speakeasy in the back of a barbershop sets the standard for Leeds bars as far as we are concerned.

2. Headrow House

Found in one of Leeds’ historic yards, Headrow House has been given a new lease of life. Transformed from a textiles mill, the bar and beer hall are the best bars to spend a night sipping on cocktails and craft ales.

3. Rolands

If you choose to venture to this place expect a laidback setting that oozes class. The bar has a hidden roof terrace and offers both table and bar service.
Rolands is one of our personal favorite bars in Leeds offering a select choice of beers, wines, and spirits, but is best known for its cocktails featuring in the UK Top 50 Cocktail Bar in 2022.
We are quite partial to a Floralis, which includes Wolfe Bros. of Yorkshire London Dry Gin, Zero Waste Limoncello, Aperol & Champagne Syrup – and is a great shout for summer. 39 Call Lane, Leeds, United Kingdom
4. North Bar

This is a must for any craft beer fans. The OGs of craft ale in Leeds, North Bar have been serving up great beers for over 25 years offering informed staff ready to help you select your new favourite beverage.

5. Below Stairs

Take a trip to this hidden gem in the heart of Leeds. Down some stairs on the high street, you are taken into a sleek cocktail bar that serves up unique and tasty cocktails.
The house-created cocktails aim to attack all the senses serving up everything from these incredible creations to the classics we all know and love along with a few craft ales and some small vineyard-produced wines.

6. Water Lane Boathouse

Brought to you by the team that brought you Headrow House & Belgrave Music Hall is Waterfront Bar & Beer Garden.
The venue is a stunning and light-filled offering that has outside tables with a beautiful view out onto the canal.
Their beer garden is the perfect place to chill out with friends this summer and helps make it one of the best bars in Leeds. The idyllic spot is very cool, and the views are best viewed with a beer or two.

7. Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen

If you’re looking for laidback vibes, then Belgrave is the one. Serving up a huge range of craft ales they’re a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike.
You’ll have to get there early if you want to get a spot on their rooftop bar with views over the city. If that wasn’t enough they have two great street food offerings from Patty Smiths burgers and Dough Boys pizzas.

8. Call Lane Social

One of Leeds’ great late-night bars, Call Lane Social has a fantastic atmosphere. The Independent, family-run iconic bar is open 7 days a week till 4am. Expect a fantastic atmosphere whether calling in for a pint after work or partying until the early hours.

9. Mojo

Mojo is definitely one of the coolest bars in Leeds located on Merrion Street in Leeds City Centre. It’s known for its great tunes and atmosphere on a night out and is one for those that love guitar music.

10. Jake’s Bar & Still Room

Jake’s Bar is one of Leeds’ long-standing places to visit having spent over 15 years on the popular Call Lane where they’ve benn creating their own specialist cocktails that you won’t find anyone else.

14. Sela Bar

This bar and live music venue serves up pizza, beers and cocktail with live jazz, funk and soul. They serve a huge range of beers spanning from Pickering to New York.

15. Smokestack

Smokestack has speakeasy vibes & is one of our favourite bars to hit on a night out in Leeds. It’s a great late night venue that sells itself as a piece of New Orleans in the heart of Leeds City Centre.
If you’re looking to dance the night away with a few cocktails the New Orleans-inspired bar and speakeasy is the place to be on the weekend.
