Another gem in the Yorkshire Dales, Catgill Farm is loved for its incredible glamping pods – but it’s also a popular campsite, with incredible views of the surrounding Dales.
Situated on the Bolton Abbey Estate, the convenient location is perfect for families and hikers to enjoy the Skipton area of the Dales, with tons of incredible walks and historical sites to explore.

Flaxton Meadows can be found ideally located between York and the North York Moors, offering the best of the Yorkshire countryside and city life.

4. Mr Moo’s Touring Park, Skipsea

Mr Moo’s may be famed for its ice cream, but did you know it’s also home to a fantastic touring park right next to their ice cream parlour? Located right on the clifftop above Moos Beach, near Skipsea, the touring site offers grass and hard pitches on the beautiful Yorkshire coast with all the relevant facilities – perfect for family holidays.
Its beachside location is unbeatable, with an easy-to-follow path leading onto the beach and, of course, the ice cream parlour right next door serving lunch dishes and, of course, a huge array of ice cream flavours to enjoy. Kids can even visit the dairy cows who live on the farm.

What. A View. Located on the clifftop overlooking Ravenscar, Bayness Farm offers one of the most unique camping views in the region, with no-frills grass pitches putting a focus on the panoramic sea views.

Another of Yorkshire’s fantastic coastal campsites, Hooks House Farm offers views of Robin Hood’s Bay and beyond – and is a beautiful spot to camp with family this summer.
The family-run campsite is located on a working farm and is a lovely base for nature lovers to enjoy the stunning coast, with Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby just a short drive or hike away.

Found between Filey and Cayton Bay, Crows Nest is a family-friendly site with a difference, thanks to its fantastic facilities.
In addition to camping and touring pitches, visitors can also rent a caravan for their stay, with tons of family-friendly facilities on offer including an indoor heated swimming pool, kids play area, family bar with live entertainment and food, an on-site fish and chip shop, dog park, shop and so much more.

10. William’s Den, North Cave

East Yorkshire‘s favourite children’s attraction is also home to a fantastic campsite, just a stone’s throw away from the numerous play zones.
The natural site offers grass pitches only; however, there are showers, toilets and a wash-up station to make your stay a comfortable one. Campers can enjoy a wonderful 13-acre site at William’s Den, with the benefit of the incredible adventure play boasting climbing towers, ziplines and more.
