Filming for series four of All Creatures Great and Small began earlier this year, and we couldn’t be more excited for the Channel 5 show to begin. But, what will become of Tristanthis series?
Well, Callum Woodhouse, the actor who plays Tristan Farnon in All Creatures Great and Small has admitted he believes Tristan Farnon’s exit is “just such a beautiful end”.
Let’s just hope he meant a beautiful end to the series as we would like to see more of the loveable chap in the upcoming series which is currently being filmed in the Yorkshire Dales.

Speaking about the emotional farewell, which saw Tristran being called up to fight in the war, The Express reported that Callum remembered: “on the day feeling very good about it.”

Reflecting on the emotional scene between Tristan and brother Seigfried, actor Callum said: “It is just such a beautiful end, an absolute hurricane of emotions.”
And emotional it was scenes outside Skeldale House. Seigfried tried to find a way to stop Tristan from going to war to no avail. And after accepting that Tristan would be leaving he dropped his usual stern facade and gave his little brother a huge hug.

To which Tristan replied: “Are we huggers now?” and Siegfried replied: “Yes, we bloody well are. I’m so damn proud of you.”
To scene had us here in The Yorkshireman grasping for the tissues as it was a very emotional scene that was dealt with brilliantly.
