The highly anticipated arrival of the renowned musical The Book of Mormon is set to grace the stage of Hull New Theatre for the very first time next year. From March 4th to March 22nd, 2025, audiences in Hull will have the opportunity to experience the uproarious comedy and unforgettable music from the guys who brought you South Park.
The Book of Mormon transports audiences into the world of two Mormon missionaries dispatched to a distant and unexpected location far from their familiar surroundings in Salt Lake City. The ensuing journey is a riotous exploration of faith, friendship, and the absurdities of life.
Crafted by the creative genius of Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez, The Book of Mormon has garnered widespread acclaim since its inception. Parker and Stone, celebrated for their groundbreaking work on the Emmy and Peabody award-winning series South Park, as well as the iconic films South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut and Team America: World Police, bring their irreverent humour and sharp wit to the stage. Meanwhile, Lopez, the mastermind behind the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q, adds his unique flair to the production.
