Filming for the brand new series, LB Casting Ltd is on the lookout for Yorkshire folk to step in as actors for the forthcoming Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge. The comedy-drama premiered back in 2017, and has so far run for three seasons.

The show follows the lives of the divided white and Asian population in a Yorkshire town, set in Halifax, with a brand new academy bringing the two communities together.
A social media notice for the casting call writes: “We are currently accepting temporary artists to register their interest in being a part of the filming process. All roles are paid work.

“We are particularly keen to find males and females from the Asian community.”
Anyone can apply, with the show casting for an age range of 11 and up. To apply, you can do so by emailing info@lbcastingltd.co.uk with your full name, age, ethnicity, contact number and two current selfies with no filters.
The call also states: “We are about to start casting supporting roles for the 4th series of Channel 4‘s ‘Ackley Bridge’.
“Filming is set to start shooting next month (March) in and around Halifax. We are currently accepting temporary artists to register their interest in being a part of the filming process. All roles are paid work.”
