Channel 5 Issues Statement On Future Of ‘Our Yorkshire Farm’ After Amanda & Clive Split

Following a widely publicised “rocky patch” last Autumn, Amanda and Clive Owen announced just yesterday that they’d be calling it quits on their 22-year-long marriage – an announcement that caused panic among fans desperate to know if the split would spell the end for hit Channel 5 show, Our Yorkshire Farm.

The sad news comes as fans eagerly await the sixth series of the show, which is yet to be announced by Channel 5.

Speaking to the Express, a representative for Channel 5 has spoken out on the news, giving hope to fans by saying: “We respect the privacy of Amanda and Clive Owen at this time. They are very much a part of the Channel 5 family and we will continue to work with them in the future.”

Amanda and Clive also confirmed that they would continue working together in a joint statement released via Amanda’s Instagram page, saying: “Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.”

The former couple works together on Swaledale’s Ravenseat Farm and were most recently renovating a new property named Anty John’s, which would have been the Owen’s new family home.

It is currently unclear when Our Yorkshire Farm will return, however, there are currently five unaired episodes previously commissioned by Channel 5, so it’s likely we haven’t seen the last of our favourite farming family just yet – despite Amanda and Clive’s difficult decision to split.
