The Coca Cola Truck Will Be Visiting Yorkshire This Weekend

“Holidays are coming! Holidays are coming!” One of the signifiers that Christmas is only around the country each year is the Coca-Cola truck appearing on the TV with the famous jingle playing. That over the years has turned into the truck driving around various places in the UK.

Returning after two years due to the pandemic, the famous red truck – which acts as its very own sugar-laden Santa sleigh – will be riding into Yorkshire for three days only, with three lucky Yorkshire locations being gifted with a visit this year.

Where Can I See The Coca Cola Christmas Truck?

The iconic Coca Cola Christmas Trunk is once again heading out on its UK tour, and you can see it in Yorkshire this Christmas. . White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds will be visiting on Saturday 28th & Sunday 28th November, and also the magical Coca Cola truck will be spreading joy and heading over to Xscape in Castleford on Wednesday 2st December.

How Long Has Coca Cola Truck Been Around?

The famous ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert, that featured the truck, launched a massive 26-years-ago and quickly became a cultural part of Christmas. You will be able to get the magical picture for the Gram as well as get your fill of Coca Cola Zero Sugar.

2021 marking its 26th anniversary following its original premiere on television back in 1995.

Coca-Cola said: “In a magical winter wonderland setting, visitors will be able to get their festive fill of Coca-Cola Zero, as well as capturing those all important seasonal selfies with their loved ones next to the iconic red truck.

“Christmas is set to be extra magical this year and to celebrate, Coca-Cola is announcing the return of its iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour. Bringing Christmas cheer to the nation, the eagerly anticipated tour is set to put a spotlight on local community and togetherness.

Louise Maugest, marketing director at Coca Cola Great Britain, said: “Coca Cola has always been synonymous with Christmas, particularly the iconic Truck Tour.

“With the magic of Christmas needed now more than ever, we thought it was only right that we bring it back this year, safely and securely.

“The Coca Cola Truck tour has always been a moment to remind us of the importance of togetherness and community, something particularly prevalent during the festive season.”

Last year the Coca Cola truck tour was cancelled due to covid, so we can’t wait to see the big red truck all brightly lit.
