Fans of the Owens family have another reason to look forward to autumn, as Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids returns to screens for a fourth series.
It was a poignant end to series three, with the sad death of the beloved family dog, Chalky. All the family members feature in the new series, with the renovation once again taking centre stage against the backdrop of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
By the end of series three, more than two years of work had transformed the old ruin, which was becoming almost unrecognisable. With the major structural work well underway, attention is now turning towards the interior, including decoration and furniture.
The popular series returns at 9pm on Monday, 5 October, on More4, once again following Amanda, Clive and their family as they continue their farming lives while taking on their ambitious renovation project.
Filmed throughout winter 2025 and spring 2026, the new series follows the Owens family as the renovation of their new family home, Anty John’s, enters its third year.
But, as always with the Owens family, the renovation is only part of what we can expect

Back at Ravenseat Farm, the family face plenty of activity, including some unexpected new arrivals over Christmas and an all-hands-on-deck Easter lambing season.
Amanda also continues to delve into the fascinating and moving history of Anty John’s, uncovering more about the Clarkson family who once lived at the property. Following the heartbreaking loss of Chalky, viewers can also expect new arrivals on the farm as the family continues to look towards the future.
Away from the farm, viewers can enjoy a trip to the Beamish Museum, while the series will also follow Edith and her sisters as they prepare their cream tea van for its grand summer opening.
It looks set to be another busy series for the Owens family, with plenty of farming, family life, renovation work and beautiful Yorkshire countryside along the way.
There are plenty of questions to be answered in the new series. When will the Owens family finally move into Anty John’s? Will they get running water? And, perhaps most importantly, what will the inside of the finished house look like?
Hopefully, some of these questions will finally be answered in series four.
What’s set to happen in the first episode of series four?
Starting on Christmas Day morning at Ravenseat Farm, the Owen family enjoy presents, festivities and a busy Christmas dinner. As the new year arrives with snow up in Swaledale, after two years, Miles and Amanda begin painting the finally dried-out plastered walls of Anty John’s.
Also, Amanda and historian Derek delve into the previous owners of Anty John’s history and discover a tragedy in the lives of the Clarksons. Clive and Miles tackle a flooded field and more.
