The German Doner Kebab company are taking over Yorkshire, and their new store is opening up in Hull.Following the success of their previous openings they announced openings in Batley, Bradford. Rotherham and Meadowhall and now the chain, which has seen massive growth over the years is coming to Hull.
Famous for their gourmet kebabs, the chain has restaurants worldwide and in over 47 locations in the UK with more in the works. The new opening in Hull will create thirty new jobs when it opens in the city centre.
Set to be on Jameson Street in Hull, the conversion is currently underway in which used to me William Hill and Shoe Zone in a £500,000 investment.
Speaking about the company’s expansion plans earlier this year, chief executive officer Imran Sayeed said: “We have been extremely agile during the pandemic and there continues to be a huge demand for our game-changing kebabs.
“It is therefore very exciting to be announcing these latest growth plans for the next 12 months as we build on the great momentum we delivered during 2020.
“Our plans will almost double our portfolio and create in the region of 1,800 jobs as we continue to disrupt the market space and maintain our mission of building the fast-casual brand of the future.”

Founded in Germany back in 1989 and includes a variety of donner-filled items from traditional kebabs, low-calorie options, burgers, quesadillas and high protein boxes. Other highlights include their much loved Flaming Fries and side options such as Doner topped nachos and Doner spring rolls.
