Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson, known for hosting the beloved Springtime on the Farm, return to Channel 5 with a fresh series exploring farming throughout the UK across various seasons.

Joined by familiar faces like the Nicholson family from Cannon Hall Farm in Yorkshire, The Yorkshire Vets, JB Gill, and more, they delve into age-old traditions, the impact of nature on farming, and the evolving agricultural practices shaping the future. The inaugural episode kicks off with a vibrant portrayal of springtime.

The ten-part series features some of the best moments for Springtime and Winter on the farm whilst intricacies of farm life.

When does Helen Skelton & Jules Hudson’s A Yorkshire Farm air on Channel 5?

The pair’s new Channel 5 series is set to air on Thursday 29th February at 7pm and promises to be a great dive into the world of farming in the county of Yorkshire.

The synopsis of episode one says that “Jules Hudson celebrates farming across the country and throughout the seasons”. You can prepare for a journey through the previous year with the Nicholson family on their farm in South Yorkshire. Cannon Hall Farm will also see the likes of Helen Skelton, the Yorkshire Vets and JB Gill featuring – so we know we are in for some great viewing.

The synopsis for the first episode also says “Starting in the spring, one of Britain’s youngest farmers, eight-year-old Joe, in Lincolnshire, faces his first ever lambing season and JB Gill meets sheep dog trainer Michelle Anderson.”

Mentioning that Rob makes a late-night rush to the cattle barn when Blueberry the donkey goes into labour.

Discussing the new show Rob said: “”This is such an honour for us and we absolutely know it would not have happened without the love and support shown to us on social media for all the farm fans who really shout loud about our family farm to help us get heard,” Farmers Guardian reports.
