Hollywood Hardman Vinnie Jones To Star In Clarkson’s Farm-Style Show

From Hollywood to West Sussex, hardman Vinnie Jones is set to star in a brand new documentary series dubbed the next Clarkson’s Farm. Known for such classic films as Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Mean Machine, he’s swapping the tough guy image for flat cap and wellies.

Set on 147-acre farm in Petworth, West Sussex, the ex-footballer is working with creators of Hollyoaks and Geordie Shore on a docu-series in the same vain as the sucessful Prime Video show. We can’t wait to see a different side to the ex-footballer.

The news comes after the tragic death of wife of 25 years, Tanya, who sadly lost her battle with cancer back in July 2019 at just 53 years of age, according to the Daily Mail. Jones sold both their house in Watford and LA home as he couldn’t cope with living their without his wife.

Pushing himself out his comfort zone, his new venture will focus on the renovation of the South of England farm with the aim of turning it into a sustainable agribusiness – building upon his passion for the British countryside.

As part of the transformation, Mr Jones and his team will look to establish new conservation methods, restore habitats and attract wildlife.

“I was raised living off the land and can’t wait to show people the joy and beauty of our countryside, and the reward of old-fashioned hard work. Bring it on.”

Clare Laycock, SVP head of Content, Networks & Streaming at Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland ordered the series and they said in a statement: “After decades on the football pitch and silver screen, we are delighted to bring Vinnie Jones and this heart-warming new series to Discovery+.

“Vinnie’s charisma, determination and fiery personality shine through in this series and viewers are going to love getting to know a surprising new side to this hard-as-nails footballer: a true country gentleman.”

Becky Cadman creative director of Format & Talent at Lime PIctures said: “We are thrilled to be working with Warner Bros. Discovery to bring Vinnie Jones’ countryside vision to life. Expect chaos, comedy, and a whole lot of heart.”
