Exciting things are happening in the East Riding of Yorkshire city of Hull, as Asda is set to bring its new George concept store to Anlaby Retail Park, where customers can enjoy the best of George clothing and homeware under one roof.
The new George concept store in Hull will open at 9am on Friday, 31st October, with an exciting in-store launch event. The first 100 customers to shop in-store will also receive a free candle worth £10. It’s an exciting new development for the George brand, which first originated in 1989, when fashion designer and retail entrepreneur, George Davies, partnered with Asda to create a high-quality, great-value clothing
brand with its own distinct identity, becoming the UK’s first-ever supermarket clothing brand.
As part of the retailer’s wider strategy to roll out stand-alone George stores — replacing its Asda Living brand — the second store in the rebrand is coming to Hull after a hugely successful pilot launch in Leeds earlier this year. Targeting key northern locations, Asda is bringing its fashion and homeware to George fans with a fresh, contemporary layout designed to highlight the expanded clothing collection, featuring must-have looks for men, women, and children.
