This family day out is the ultimate celebration of those who gave their lives for their country during the Great Wars of World War One and World War Two. Held on 30 acres of land just 10 miles north of Doncaster, the Yorkshire Wartime Event 2025 offers an interactive and immersive way for both children and adults to learn about past conflicts.

The North of England’s largest WWI and WWII military vehicle and living history event features over 400 military vehicles and some incredible battle re-enactments, designed to celebrate, commemorate, and educate visitors about the wars that shaped the 20th century.

Taking place this year from 8th to 10th August, the Yorkshire Wartime event 2025 delivers a truly immersive and exciting opportunity to understand what it was like to live through the major conflicts of the last century.

The event also teaches about the Women’s Land Army, a British civilian organisation formed in 1917 during WWI to recruit women into agricultural work. It was revived in 1939 during WWII to once again replace men who had gone to fight.

In addition to historic content, the weekend also explores more recent conflicts and features daily vehicle parades showcasing some of the largest and rarest military vehicles in the UK — perfect for photo opportunities.

Tickets are just £16 for adults, £6 for children, with WWII veterans and children under three admitted free. To find out more, head to the website here. Willows Farm, Moss Rd, Kirkhouse Green, Doncaster DN7 5TA
