Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival Returns For 2025 In New Home Bigger Than Ever

The UK’s biggest ticketed food festival is back for 2025, as the Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival announces its return on 18–20 July with a fresh new venue and an upgraded programme of entertainment, food, and family fun.

Now under the stewardship of Staffordshire-based Cocker Hoop Creative Ltd, the festival has found a new home in Aireville Park, Skipton, right at the gateway to the Dales. The event promises to deliver its trademark mix of celebrity chefs, live music, and artisan traders—with a few new surprises in store.

Returning favourite James Martin will headline the Big Top Cooking Stage, joined by Simon Rimmer, Rosemary Shrager, Tom Shepherd, Galton Blakiston, and MasterChef contestant Owen Diaram. Festival-goers can expect cooking demos, foodie masterclasses, and more.

In a first for the event, the Big Top Stage will transform into a comedy club by night, welcoming top UK stand-ups to entertain crowds after dark. Festival organiser Jon Arrowsmith, MD at Cocker Hoop Creative, said:

“It has always been a fantastic festival which blends delicious food and drink with inspiring chefs, brilliant music, hilarious comedy, and encourages everyone to dance the night away.”

Music highlights will include the Limelight Orchestra’s Ibiza Proms, the 70s Brutus Gold Love Train, and over 20 tribute acts. Celebrity DJs are also on the bill, with the full music line-up still to be announced.

Younger visitors won’t be left out, with activities such as circus school, storytelling, a petting zoo, and even dinosaur encounters on offer. Meanwhile, baking fans can visit a new Great British Bake Off cookery tent with former contestants live on stage.

Cocker Hoop has reduced ticket prices, removed booking fees, and added more free attractions in a bid to make the weekend more affordable.

With over 220 traders already confirmed and glamping options available, the 2025 edition is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet.

“We still have room for more producer stalls,” added Arrowsmith. “We’re prioritising businesses from Yorkshire, so we encourage local traders to get in touch quickly.”
