Jeremy Clarkson Discusses Diddly Squat Farm Sale As New ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ Airs This Week

With just days to go, Jeremy Clarkson has been discussing the future of Diddly Squat Farm if the worst ever did happen. The third series is set to air this Friday, and he discussed how he’s keeping things afloat with girlfriend Lisa, farm manager Kaleb Cooper, and the rest of the gang.

We’ve seen that the 64-year-old farmer has introduced pigs into his farm for the first time in the third series. Last series saw Clarkson highlight many of the issues faced by farmers in the current climate.

Season three of Clarkson’s Farm looks to continue with more of the same – as the gang continues to navigate all the trials and tribulations of the world of British farming. Highlights include hot weather threatening crops, inflation increasing the price of supplies, and Clarkson coming to terms with the end of his dream of opening a restaurant.

One thing The Grand Tour presenter has highlighted in Clarkson’s Farm is the financial struggles he’s faced during his time running the farm – and admitted he considered selling up for good last year as he continues to try to make it profitable.

He admitted that he may one day sell the farm as his children don’t seem to share the same passion he does, speaking to the Guardian. He said: “I keep telling them, ‘Listen, when I’m dead, I don’t want you to sell it’.”

Continuing: “They look at me like, ‘Are you joking?'”. Thankfully, Clarkson has a few years in him yet. And, the show was also renewed for a fourth series – so there is still that to be made!

The third series of Clarkson’s Farm is set to air this Friday, 3rd May, on Amazon Prime Video.
