Leeds-based airline, Jet2 are tightening up their flight schedules according to their recent post on Twitter that announced flight cancellations. The airline took to Twitter to announce that certain flights will be cancelled until early 2021. Travellers might want to look for places a little closer to home for a staycation this winter.

The Leeds-based airline may have some unhappy holidaymakers after their tough decision to no longer fly to popular Spanish Destinations Malaga or Alicante, and Faro in Portugal. Jet2 review and update destinations throughout this pandemic
Although, their recent Twitter posts suggest that these destinations will now be off-limits until earl 2021. In their announcement the airline said, “Due to the ongoing uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the latest government travel advice, we have taken the decision to extend the suspension of flights and holidays to Malaga, Alicante and Faro (The Algarve).
“Flights and holidays to Faro (The Algarve) are suspended from 1st November up to and including 10th February 2021 and we are continuing to operate a revised flying programme for flight-only customers up to and including 31st October.
“For customers due to travel up to and including 31st October and who no longer wish to do so, we are offering them the option to rebook with no admin fee.”
