Sheffield’s Fun Diner With Rude Staff & Terrible Table Service

Ever been fuming at an ignorant waiter, and felt like giving them a piece of your mind? Well, at this new restaurant that has come to Yorkshire you can do just that. Karen’s Diner in Sheffield is the UK’s first-ever opening of the Australian dining experience.

It’ll be interesting to see how English folk deal with this diner where you’re allowed to vent your anger at the staff. The usual British person would just quietly complain about everything behind the waiter’s back and gush how everything is completely fine when they finally visit the table. It’s the British tried and tested way.

Karen’s Diner, Sheffield reads: “Our staff are rude, our manners are non-existent, and we’re the perfect place for Karen’s everywhere to vent their anger and dismay at the world.

“Come on, ask for the manager… WE DARE YOU.”

Customers are invited to ‘vent their anger’ over a burger and a shake with ‘100 percent rude staff’’. Opening in Sheffield as well as offering customers a chance to let out their anger on staff, they serve handcrafted burgers chicken wings, ice cream, waffles and ‘fantastic’ drinks.

The food has some great names such as the burgers ‘Karen’s Got Real Beef’, ‘The Fiery Karen’ and ‘The “I Want To See Your Manager” Karen’.

Wash down your food with cocktails, beer, wine, ‘thickshakes’ and other soft drinks, or house shooters including ‘The Music Is Too Loud’, ‘I’ve Been Waiting 10 Minutes For Some Service’ and ‘You’ve Just Lost My Business’.

As well as offering customers the opportunity to let out their anger at the staff, Karen’s serves up a selection of burgers, too.

On the website, it goes on to say: “Karen’s is an interactive diner and an absurdly fun experience. At Karens you will be greeted and waited upon by rude waiters who in return are expecting you to give it full Karen.

“A place where you can complain until the cows come home because we literally don’t care.”

In a brilliantly Karen move, anyone that visits called Karen can enjoy freebies such as free drink.

Speaking to Sunrise, Aaron Rovuck from the restaurant chain said Sunrise the diners offer ‘a food experience that is a bit theatrical and lets out some of your pent-up emotions and kind of follows that Karen’s trend’.

“How about we let the public not worry about their etiquette for a second and let out some pent-up rage and the staff here are happy to take it.

“We want you to really become the Karen you were meant to be.”
