Along with the popular series, Harington has featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021 in the Eternals. He also featured as the lead role in the National Theater’s live production of Henry V.

At the end of the eighth season, Jon Snow was found to be Aegon Targaryen, an heir to the Iron Throne and was exiled from Westeros journeying north of the wall with the wildlings.

The new series is the first based within George R.R. Martin’s incredible universe that will be set in a time after the series ended.

The project could potentially see a range of other characters appear such as Arya Stark, Sansa Stark and Brienne of Tarth.
