The festival that has more nostalgia than a blah blah blah has been rearranged for next year and the date for the 90s and early noughties bangers have been announced. You can enjoy the sing-a-long classics from artists like Peter Andre, 5ive, S Club seven and more.
Next August, Millenium square will play host to the Popworld Festival that is sure to have the town centre popping with classic cheese after classic cheese next year in Leeds.
Having been rearranged due to COVID twice the festival will take place on the 6th of August 2022 and will be an unmissable event. Ticket holders for Saturday 31 July 2021 will be contacted directly.
Paul Chuckle, a Yorkshire icon and half of the Chuckle Brothers will also be putting on a DJ set with some classic pop anthems. The festival also has a special guest that they’re keeping tightlipped about.
Jonathon Guest, organiser from Stonegate Group says: “It’s great that The Popworld Festival is guaranteed to go ahead now. With Covid cases dropping and the vaccination programme making headway, we are really looking forward to giving people one of the biggest pop party experiences around.”
Tier one tickets are already sold out but you can buy tier two tickets for £27.50. Tier 3 tickets are just £33 and there will also be VIP tickets that will include priority seating and chances to meet the artists for just £49.95. A goody bag from sponsor, Ciroc vodka.
You can enjoy the one-day festival until 11pm, with an afterparty at the Popworld on Briggate StreetPopworld Cookridge Street and Walkabout,
