Lidl Has Released A Limited-Edition Hull-Inspired Deodorant – And We Need It

Our first thought when we heard about the new limited-edition fragrance was chip spice and patties – which would have been an ideal scent in our eyes. But, Lidl had different ideas when the created the new scenes which are inspired by the best-selling locations for its Cien range in the UK.

Lidl released the new scents on the 30th November, so we may be a little late to the party. But, the new limited gift boxes of its Cien deodrant range will rival Lynx with its unique twist. The Cien body spray range is inspired by its best selling locations which include Hull, Barry, Leith and Peckham.

A great stocking filler for Lidl superfans and proud Hull-residents each gift box contains full sized body sprays of all four scents. Each range has had a label designed to feature the iconic landmarks of each area – and for Hull they went for the Humber Bridge – of course.

But what does Hull smell like?

Lidl described Cien Hull as a ‘A strong northern aroma that’ll make any day feel ‘reet grand’. Expect a smooth industrial ambience, a bold smattering of seagulls. This is a scent made for the City (‘til I die).’

Unfortunately, the box set of the limited-edition deodrant sprays aren’t available in store and where a Lidl free giveaway gift box. But, you never know if it’s gets enough interest – you too could be wearing Hull this 2024.

We’ll stick to chip spice and patties until then.
