We can’t love Stephen Graham any more than we do! Everything he does is fantastic and his new Netflix thriller Bodies, which was filmed in Yorkshire is sure to be a hit.
The new murder mystery is based on best-selling novel of the same name by Si Spencer and follows police through four different time periods which are interconnected.
A head scratcher by the sounds of it.
Stephen Graham plays the protagonist Elias Mannix, an enigmatic political leader at the centre of it all. Police start to notice uncanny connections. between the murders between 1890, 1941, 2023, and 2053.
Parts may have been filmed in Hull, but the show is set in London’s East End at the same location on Longharvest Lane, and also has the same body.
Hull’s Old Town was transformed last month for the filming of the new crime drama set in London. It is being used as the backdrop for the series based on Si Spencer’s novel of the same name which follows four detectives from four eras investigating the same murder.
Cast includes Shira Haas from Unorthodox as investigator DC, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd from The Queen’s Gambit as DS Whiteman.
The new Netflix show Bodies arrives 19th October and we can’t wait.
